Why do are some funds under Franklin Templeton just named Templeton? Are they from a different fund house? Print

While most of the funds in the fund family have Franklin Templeton in their legal name, two of these funds do not contain the Franklin part.

These are Templeton India Growth Fund and Templeton India Equity Income Fund.

These two funds are specifically managed by the Templeton team but are a part of the Franklin Templeton Franklin Templeton Asset Management India Pvt Ltd.
